Way back in 2007 we had this crazy idea of a world statistics counter we chose to name the World Clock. We couldn't have known that it would become so popular. Success was a complete surprise... but don't worry, we are still the same humble, eccentric, coffee guzzling coders we always were - and that is a good thing.
Poodwaddle is now in it's 7th generation, and our scope has narrowed. We are now dedicated to the science of time - no, not the magazine. I'm talking about time, as in past, present, and future. We gather statistics about the past and predictions for the future, interesting tidbits of history, and hints of things to come. We calculate life span and encourage you to use your time wisely. And of course we offer plenty of ways for you to waste your time, because, as Bertrand Russell said, "Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time."
Are you still reading this? Cripes, stop wasting time! Your life is ticking away while you stare blankly at the screen. I can see you there, gaping, slack-jawed, hoping desperately that my words will give some greater meaning to your life. Well, guess what? I don't have the answers, but I can tell you that the average person lives 2 billion seconds, and you just wasted a hundred of yours.
Poodwaddle requires a relatively modern browser. If you are running an older browser then the site might not look quite right or function very well.
