This year 57 million people will die. Nearly 4 million will die from unintentional injuries such as auto accidents. Over 1 million will die from intentional injuries - murder and suicide. Almost 10 million will pass away from infectious diseases, such as Pneumonia and TB. Most of the remaining 40 million deaths will be caused by cancers, heart disease, and other non-communicable diseases. The figures here show the deaths since the start of the year (or other selected time period).◄World Clock / Health Clock♦

POODWADDLE WORLD CLOCK The World Stats Counter (V 7.0)
This minute 250 babies will be born, 100 people will die, 20 violent crimes will be reported, and the US debt will climb $1 million. The World Clock tells more than time. It shows a live picture of our changing world.
The World Clock is too large for a single page. It had to be divided into multiple categories. Use the menu to navigate to these other pages.
You can rotate the map by dragging left or right or by clicking the left and right buttons on the menu. Scroll the page down for more stats, source data, and tables of exact growth rates.
The menu provides several filter options. Yr (the default) calculates the growth since the beginning of the year - Mth, from the first of the month - Wk from the start of the week - and Now will calculate growth stats from the moment Now is clicked. Scroll to the bottom of the page for a table of total growth rates.
We show two types of stats: 1. GROWTH STATS show the number since the start of the selected time period (year by default). Births are an example of a growth stat. 2. TOTALS STATS show the current total, or population, not just the growth in population. Filters do not apply to totals stats.
